Contessa Brewer (M$NBC News Bunny) On Rick Warren

Now, Contessa is the daughter of a minister, an unapologetic conservative and pretty much a twit, just said something to the effect "Doesn't Rick Warren realize Prop 8 would have made Gay Marriage a secular right and have nothing to do with what goes on inside his church?" It's by far the most intelligent question I've ever heard her ask.

Personally, I'm staying out of this brouhaha for the most part, because as long as Obama is the one taking the Oath of Office Jan. 20th the rest is just window dressing to me. While I understand why many are upset, I believe there has been a bit of an over-reaction to this, especially by many here who never really supported Obama in the first place.

Yeah, some are definitely overreacting.


Anger is understandable, but this shit is getting ridiculous. He hasn't changed his policies or made Warren an advisor or anything.

Phone banked and walked precincts for him in Missouri before the primary, gave him money throughout, volunteered for him in the General.

This particular 'window dressing' is pure poison. It's sending a message that hatred and homophobia are socially acceptable, so much so that you're rewarded with a prime spot in his inauguration. How is this 'change'? This sure as hell isn't what I worked so hard for. It's not over-reaction to view this as a complete betrayal.
