Prediction on Franken/Coleman outcome
Watching the Minnesota Canvassing Board it seems as if that Franken will move ahead when all the ballots are canvassed and counted.

Coleman attorneys have been arguing that there is evidence of double counting. My prediction is that Franken will win the final vote tally and that Coleman will be challenging the vote based on undermining the count as some ballots were counted twice. In the end it will be decided by the United States Senate.

There are 600 challenges to go by the canvassing board and there are about 1300 absentee ballots that are awaiting a Supreme Court Decision.

1. I think I read where Coleman now wants to count all the votes.
Atleast I think I read that in today's paper.

2. Aren't they still fighting the inclusion of the so called "improper" absentee ballots?

5. Al Franken will probably have to sue to get Ramsey County...
...to review their Rejected Absentee Ballots.

Ramsey County is one of the most Democratic in MN (it includes St. Paul) but Ramsey County Elections Manager Joe Mansky is refusing to review their Rejected Absentee Ballots.

8. Joe Mansky may be a Republican, in a Democratic County.
I don't know his party.

9. Fair point. Still, we have lots of lazy idiots on both sides
...who are more concerned with their own work hours than the good of the public. For example, the Cuyahoga County BOE employees who got sent to prison for gaming the 2004 recount were not so much acting from partisanship as laziness - they didn't want to work all of the overtime that would have been required had there been a full recount, so they made sure that the numbers they produced in the sample failed to meet the criteria for arecount.
