Poll question: Rate your satisfaction with post-election Obama so far...
Edited on Thu Dec-18-08 11:29 PM by Skip Intro

This isn't a "yes or no" poll like some I've seen here tonight, not a push poll. This is a poll to guage how DUers honestly feel about Obama as of now.

The poll is a scale of 1-10, 1 being least satisfied, 10 being most satisfied.

7. I am seeing the same pattern as with Hillary vs Obama
a small but vocal minority dominating the forum discussions.

8. Pre Warren I would have voted 8 or 9
post Warren, I'm down to a 5...and even then I'm being charitable.

9. The correct answer is 3.
Idiotic pick of Warren to give invocation tops off administration appointments that range from the mediocre , eg. Clinton, to the absurd : e.g. Gates, SOD; and Duncan for Education ( never taught, never went to public school, has no children in public school, dislikes unions, creature of Daley machine, played basketball with Obama. What a stroke of genius.)

I'd like to be able to say there's nowhere to go but up. But I fear we're not at that point yet.

Oh... and he says our troops are going to be stomping around Iraq for another year and a half.

11. "stomping around Iraq for another year and a half"
I believe he was saying this was his plan before the election.

16. So Obama has a lower approval rating on DU than among the public in general
Edited on Fri Dec-19-08 06:49 AM by HamdenRice
the public in general including Republicans.

So this just goes to show how insanely out of synch with consensus reality some of DU's members are.

18. Would you really expect the consensus opinion on a site populated
by political junkies to be in line with that of the largely apolitical American public?

20. No, but the fact that one of the most liberal Senators gets elected president ...
and he's less popular with the audience of an allegedly liberal web forum than he is with the public in general.

As of today, Obama is now being declared a war criminal by DU and he hasn't even been sworn in.

It's utterly pathetic.

19. A 2. I'm seriously pissed right now.
And a fucking statement from the Transition office about Obama's alleged committment to equality for GLBT people isn't going to cut it for me.
