Poll question: Blagojevich or Warren "Scandal" - Which one did the Obama team not want to see on the news
If they could choose one or the other - which one did they not want to see all over the news?

2. Neither will hurt Obama. Blogo is the more dangerous situation, but there is nothing there.

3. Agreed
both are chum for the media, talking heads and some on the internet. In the real world both will amount to a hill of beans.

11. Hi Uzy, again I ask, how many stories have you watched on it though, read online
and made comments on? They do affect our future President. Scandals are not good. I think this one actually offends his base, whereas the Blago one people accuse Obama with is one we hope isn't true - that would destroy our party. I don't think there's anything to the attacks saying Obama is associated with the payback for choosing the next Senator from IL.

12. Read one story on NYTimes.com, then the usual suspects
Morning Joe, Blitzer, all of MSNBC and CNN. You know, the same folks who predicted blood on the convention floor in Denver, that Rev Wright would be the end of Obama, that Hillary would sweep it up on Super Tuesday, that there was no way Bill Clinton will play ball so Hillary can be SoS, that Palin was a "game changer", that cardboard gate would be HUGH, that Joe the Plumber would sink Obama and so on and so on.

But in the real world I have not heard a peep about this Warren issue. Not a single person has mentioned this and I live in a very diverse community. I have talked to a few people about Blago, which is why i think its a more of a molehill.

To say that these 2 issues are scandals affecting Obama is seriously stretching it. Abu Ghraib, Watergate, Lewisnky, Katrina, Wide-Stance Craig. Those were scandals. This is just media chum.

5. so, just coincidence is your opinion, correct?
that Warren is chosen in the midst of the Gov. scandal to perhaps try and pull the focus off that? I hope there's nothing in the Blago scandal involving Obama - that would crush me. I am in agreement with Rachel Maddow about Obama's choice making her very mad - it's sickening to think you'd put up a guy who compares DIRECTLY - Gay people to pedophiles, polygamists, and those who commit incest - and that was just days ago! And he fought hard for Prop 8 - wow, still, I forgive Obama, but this was a really callous decision. He's a bit hard-headed at times, I didn't like that about B*sh, I hope Obama doesn't continue being that way. Again, I'd be crushed, I have hope for him to do so much better than B*sh!

8. For some reason Obama seems more upset about dealing with the Warren pick
I think deep down inside he sees he made his first serious blunder chosing Warren, but I also think (unfortunately) that he's a proud man who wont admit to some mistakes.
