OMG, Michael Savage Declares He Will Vote Democrat In 2004
He was unbelievable tonight. Normally when Savage is on, I spend my time shouting back at the radio, telling him what a "moran" he is. Tonight he was trashing Bush all over the place. He predicted a Democrat win in 2004, stated he will vote Dem, said he couldn't even listen to Bush's speech today, he had to turn off the tv (join the club Savage)
He even told one caller that Wesley Clark could easily beat Bush.

Tell me, has the world stopped spinning???

Of course, he is just rabid about the immigration amnesty, and for once I agree with him.

He even said that Bush's speech today was lower than anything he ever heard from Bill Clinton. Now, if you know how badly Savage hates Bill Clinton....that was quite a statement.

One of the most amazing things he said is that the Repugs are counting on being able to spend their 225 million 4 weeks before the election and brainwash the faithful back into the fold.

Of course, tomorrow he may wake up and go back to his normal Bush loving self, but for tonight, I'm gonna enjoy it.

:toast:

Are you talking about Michael Savage of right-wing radio fame? The guy who got kicked off TV for him homophobic remarks?

The guy who wrote this book?:

15. Obvious Ploy
The conservatives are feeling very betrayed. Moderates and Independents who have less idealogical passion see through this as an abvious ploy. Liberals are so pissed by now that they can't see straight anyway.

I sense that the tide is turning. I feel a backlash coming and you can hear the waves. They are WMD Waves of Mass Disgust.

So now he hates Bush and says he hates him more than Clinton even. The guy just lives on hyperbole. Whoever's the next president, Dean or Clark, will become more hateable than Bush. The man has no character, just hatred. He's not worth paying attention to.

14. Savage did melt down - I can attest
He did melt down.

But really, I think he was just trying for shock radio. His point was with the immigration bill, the pukes have abandoned their base and are shamelessly pandering to "a bunch of criminals". The only way to get their attention will be to "vote them out of office".

His reasoning? Only by kicking the pukes out of office will they be forced to once again "listen to you and me" (his audience).

Anyway, it was fun hearing him rip Bush and predict a Democratic win.

You may hate my liberal ways and I think you've been a jerk, but if you've finally come to see what the current administration is about, I applaud your insight and candor. We've tried to tell conservatives that they've been had, and although we may disagree, we are still getting the same shaft. Let's all try to be Americans first and get the looters out and honest men and women of principle into office where they belong; we can then debate the future of this country in true democratic fashion.

25. Savage's motto is "borders, language, culture"
He's a euro-centric nationalist, that's his niche. He's angry with Republicans for not being conservative on immigration. But its nothing new. They've never been. Reagan had some huge amnesty program. :eyes:

So I don't see why Savage is surprised, he certainly shouldn't be.
Of course I imagine he was just fuming when he said he wouldn't support Bush in 2004. The Democratic nominee will have to be tougher on immigration than Bush in order to actually capitalize on Bush's immigration weakness.

Which Democratic candidate is toughest on immigration?
Which one is weakest?

Anyone know?

As I've stated in another post, I'm a conservative who likes reading/listening to other points of view. Savage is quite a spectacle/flame thrower, like Franken, M. Moore. However, I myself am ready to sit home or pull the lever for a Libertarian if President Bush passes this bill. You Dems/Liberals could be in good position for the election.

38. Savage is a fascist and a lunatic
He compares Democrats with terrorists almost every day and wants to see liberals sent to special re-education camps.

So as you can imagine I have mixed feelings about his support. The only reason he's "supporting" our side is because he's disgusted with Bush and wants America to sink into the toilet (which is what he thinks we'll get with President Dean/Clark/Kerry) so that the real right-wing lunatics can take charge in 2008.

ROFLMAO

That one should go up in big lights.

But damn, am I at DU or on some other board? People agreeing with Savage? If I were a Liberal supporting Clark and there are some, I'd be LIVID.

As we enter 2004, only GOD knows what fate will bring us. But, I believe we can determine our own fate, to a great extent. Likewise, I believe we, the real Americans, can and must determine the future of our country. We can do so by adhering to the Founding Fathers' genius, as well as by following the 10 Commandments. And remember there is now an 11th Commandment written by Michael Savage; Protect Our Borders, Language, and Culture.

GOD Bless America!

Michael Savage

MEN AND WOMEN PROTECTING AMERICA

Michael Savage founded The Paul Revere Society (PRS). With a crisis of leadership threatening the United States, PRS stands for the reassertion of our Borders, our Language, and our Culture.

Some say that the borders are arbitrary, English is only one of many languages in our new "Multicultural America," and that we share no common history or values. We believe in the Sovereignty of our Nation. That English is our national "glue." And that we all do share in the pillars of the Bible, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. These documents and what they stand for are our common cultural heritage.

The Paul Revere Society (PRS) will assert the values inherent in these pillars of freedom. We will seek to educate the citizenry about our nation's freedoms.

1. End Affirmative Action.
2. Close the Borders now.
3. Deport all illegal immigrants now.
4. Eliminate bilingual education in all states.
5. Require health tests for all recent foreign born immigrants.
6. Make tax cuts permanent.
7. Reduce the number of Federal Employees.
8. Tort Reform - Stop Class Action Lawyers.

50. Michael Savage...
is a wolf in wolf's clothing. Don't depend on anything he says. I remember him ranting and complaining about Arnold's election campaign. Savage was very irritated that Arnold never really came out and made any commitments on ANYTHING. He was vague about everything. Savage rhetorically asked, "what does he mean here, I'll do my best for schools. Can't he come up with anything better...rant...rave....rant..."

Not 10 minutes later, he said, "well, it's Arnold. Yes, It's Arnold for governor". He endorsed Arnold, in spite of his long-winded complaining about him.

Trust Michael not at all.
