I like Dean but...
...the average, mainstream, voter is not going to like the fact that he talks so damn fast.

Looking at the superficial, which does gets noticed, I think I would advise him to slowdown a tick or two and pause between sentences for dramatic effect. I wish he came across better. I think he has some good ideas.

He talks as a New Yorker would. Not surprising since he's from there.
May cause regional problems though in places where people don't speak as
fast.

10. I liked Clinton and Gore's accents
Bush doesn't count - he isn't Texan nor talks like a real one.

But I love the cadence and husk of Bill Clinton's vocal cords, the voice of the last legally elected president we had.
