Interesting analysis of Bushisms....
I was flipping through radio stations today trying to find something worth listening to (very difficult thing to do these days) and I came across an interview with a man named Mark Miller, the author of Cruel and Unusual: Bush/Cheney's New World Order.

His theory about Bush's speaking mistakes is that he screws up when he's attempting to talk about issues that he disagrees with or just doesn't like (Miller's examples included Democracy, Constitution, affordable health care, helping the poor, etc). But when he's talking about something he believes in or wants (War, tax cuts, death penalty, etc) then he's very clear and concise.

According to Miller, this shows us who Bush really is...a cruel and nasty man. He then talked about how Bush mocked the woman on death row when he was Gov. of Texas (I can't remember her name) to further prove his point.

I'll have to keep my ears open and see for myself if there's a difference of when he screws up. It's an interesting analysis. What do you think?

1. Hadn't thought of this before
but it would make sense. Bush only cares about certain things, and phooey to the rest. Anyone around here done an analysis to see if this theory is correct?

3. I think he's probably right...definitely read Miller's previous book,
The Bush Dyslexicon. It's a very interesting read (and has lots of hilarious examples of gaffes).

4. Miller's new book, "Cruel and Unusual", is terrific
and very scary. He talks about how the loony religious right effectively controls the Bush White House, and that their ultimate goal is an almost Taliban-like theocracy.

6. I'll have to get the book
Miller was very articulate in the interview and made some very interesting points I never thought of before.

5. I noticed this quite a while ago.
I posted here a month or so ago about the LKL interview and *Liar's facial expressions and body language. He is exceedingly obvious.
