California DU'ers need to lay off of criticizing other states for their choice of Senators
Edited on Tue Jan-06-09 12:44 AM by BluegrassDem
You guys in Cali have an embarrassment in Feinstein. There's no excuse for a state that is as progressive as California to have a DINO like DiFi. I know a lot of blue state DU'ers, especially those from California, love to criticize other states for electing DINO Senators like Landrieu, Lincoln, and even pot shots at McCaskill, but at least they come from red states. DiFi is at least more conservative as those senators and she's from California!! So as a red stater myself, it's time to criticize Californians...why the fuck haven't you got rid of Feinstein????!!! :wtf:

17. the people's bandwidth
He is using the people's bandwidth - .gov - as opposed to corporate bandwidth - ad supported free sites.

Still, what you are saying is correct.

2. How would you suggest we do that?
I've never liked DiFi.

But it's really hard to dislodge an incumbent Democratic Senator in a very Blue State. The only chance is running against her in a primary, and she has the entire Democratic party machine at her command.

I don't say a thing because my *sshole is Voinovich. He is a crying bag of wind that when it is time for a vote will always vote against the American people.

13. Oh yeah. The crybaby who caves in to his masters every time. Yeah, he's a real winner.
I feel sorry for the people of your state. Hang in there.

8. There's always that
If I had a dollar for every time I simply voted against the GOOP candidate, I could afford to take tomorrow off. Maybe.

15. DiFi has her bad moments
But she was the only state-elected official besides Jack O'Connell to come out publicly and in commercials against Prop 8. We could do a lot worse than her, even if she is more to the right than California's electorate in some aspects.

16. Name me a state, besides, Vermont and Mass. that have 'perfect' Senators?
I have other Senators I love, but those are the only ones in pairs.

The mountain top removal and coal plants promoters
need to go, as do the weapon salesmen, the anti unionist,
religiosity enablers, anti-constitutionalist, global change deniers
veiled their agenda in a facade that many can see through and inside of now.

18. Rhode Island has two pretty damn good senators...
Maryland did back when Sarbanes was in office. New Jersey's senators are also pretty good.

19. I've never put down other states' senators (other than GOP's)
But that being said, we have Barbara Boxer, which offsets Feinstein. :P

20. How silly.
I guess as a Vermonter that gives me carte blanche. Good to know only people from certain states can criticize.
