A prediction I feel comfortable making
When 9/11 occurred NO ONE in the media had any interest in asking HOW did this happen? and what kind of responsibility did the Bush Administration bear?

Despite previous bombings of the WTC, despite Clinton attacking Bin Laden with mortars, despite Richard Clark running around with his "hair on fire", despite Condi ignoring the July 7th meeting with Tenet and Black, despite Bush telling the CIA briefer on Aug 6th "ok, you've covered your butt", despite the events on the very day.

We were told - unite, don't look back, don't play the "blame game", don't be "disloyal", don't "undermine" your President.

BUT, the SECOND anything occurs on Obama's watch:

It will be ALL HIS FAULT

It will be THE DEMOCRATS FAULT

We will be told we must find out "who's to BLAME" to ensure "ACCOUNTABILITY". We will be told he is "incompetent" and deserves to be removed from office and replaced with a "competent" Republican in the next election.

You can set your clock by it.

1. Per DUers, everything is already Obama's fault. Calls for his removal are already here.

21. Of course not. The only cardinal sin for an American is admitting error.

12. That poorly written OP seems to be saying...
If Obama does x, then he should be removed. It is not saying that Obama should be removed now.

x is not very clear in the OP, but it seems to me like it has something to do with impeaching Bush. With x being so vague, I can not agree or disagree with that OP.

There are some things that x could be, and I would agree; such as running around a shopping mall stabbing people with a knife.

Nice try, tiger.

EDIT: It was clear enough to 50 people and the mods. Now you're claiming "vagueness"? Get the hell out with that weak sauce.

15. First of all...
I like the second 'a' at the end of your "bwahahahaa!" I may have to steal that little detail.

Second of all; I kind of like it when you call me 'tiger'.

Third of all; I am not 100% sure everyone on that thread was talking about the same thing. The moderator called it; "whatever the perceived reasoning might be". Whenever I try to fill in the blanks, I am often accused of creating strawmen, so I try to remember to always ask for clarity when I feel that a post is vague.

Do you disagree with my interpretation of that OP?

16. The precise letters in my transliterated laughter have an element of randomness in them...
So if you like the double-a, that's wonderful. There's nothing standard about it in my typing, however.

There is nothing to agree or disagree with. You're making shit up to avoid admitting getting pwned, which was due completely to your ill-advised challenge.

19. I admit when I am 'pwned'. (gamer nerd)
But I have not been 'pwned' (gamer nerd), since that post did not call for Obama to be removed now, only if he does something perceived to be bad in the eyes of that OP.

20. Amazing. You've had an epiphany of linguistic understanding....
allowing you to now understand the (allegedly) previously incomprehensibly vague OP.

Praise Jeebus!!!

22. I never made that claim that the post was incomprehensible.
I said that the part, which I called 'x', was vague. I said that it had something to do with Bush's impeachment, but what exactly, I am not sure.

Better be careful, or you will be 'pwned'(gamer nerd).

I never claimed that there were posts calling for Obama to be removed *now*.

That is true, your claim was more general then I made it out to be.

eta: I should have asked for some clarity.

6. I am specifically talking about terrorism.
I would also like to say that I have always thought that Americans demands to be made and kept "safe" border on the delusional and the infantile.

I can't think of any other country whose infanticized residents think they can demand "safety". Can Israel make those demands on their leaders? Can the UK? Can ANY country in Europe, Asia, Africa, Central or South America demand that their leaders make them SAFE?!

The ONLY thing that has kept Americans SAFER over the years has been oceans. Now those matter less and less. We can be terrorized over cable lines. Our currency can become toilet paper. Our economy can be vaporized.

Americans need to grow up and turn off the nightlite.

14. I'm guessing that the blame for 9/11 was put square on Bush right here on DU within minutes.
I also know for a fact that Katie Couric inferred that Bush was to blame in the early moments on 9/11. It changed, of course, but it happened.

I am saying - "don't be surprised if and when this happens and be prepared."

"Another Debbie Downer post nothing constructive but mood swingers".

What specifically are you referring to? "Mood swingers"?

Be my guest and elaborate.

18. No need to worry yourself to death about stuff that hasn't happened
Heaven forbid we get attacked again, Americans will rally around Obama when it matters most and ask questions later.

Obama will handle things just fine.
