If you're going to the Inaugural next week, dress carefully!

Wear layers so you can dress down in case the sun comes out. Have something to cover your head, face, tip of your ears and your hands in case the wind kicks up. Be sure you can keep your feet dry. It sounds like the crowds are going to be very dense, so you may be in trouble trying to work your way through the crowd to shelter if you start to get cold.

2. There's a good thought!

I'm thinking that a lot of people there will not have experience with severe winter weather. Someone standing in the sun in a sheltered spot might go home with a sun burn. Someone across the street in the shade in the wind might go home with frostbite! The real hazard is that if you realize you're getting to cold, it might take 15 or 20 minutes to get shelter.
