I think Bush wants to get investigated. I think he'd relish it.
He'd completely feed off of the attention, and with a smirk and sneer, lie and have his confederates lie for him. He'd then use every manipulative lawyer trick in the book, and with his personal resources, make sure that he finds a suitable BS excuse for every one of his misdeeds (remember the trickery surrounding Dan Rather's investigation into Bush's AWOL status from the TANG?) It would be an incredible legal clusterfuck, and we will not achieve the justice we seek. Bush is incapable of feeling shame, but he seeks attention - especially negative attention where he can stick his tongue out at those people who try to show him up for what he is.

It might behoove us to ignore the bastard. Let him go home to Texas and stew over his 22% approval rating. Ignoring this narcissist is the worst possible thing we can do to him. That would make him suffer more than any form of investigation, because in his mind he's the next coming of Abraham Lincoln and Jesus Christ combined.

That's my take on it, anyway. (Personally I'd love to see him waterboarded.)

2. I think a taste of his own medicine is in order.
There's that side of me that supports an "eye for an eye," but I don't condone torture. I do, however, condone humiliating narcissists like Bush.

3. I can't condone torture. I think it's barbaric and self limiting.

4. And when JEB steals the office in 2012 or 2016 what will the law on torture and wiretapping be?

5. Even if legally, Bush doesn't get what's coming to him

He MOST DEFINATELY owes the Universe some payback. It's called "karma". And it's coming for his ass, one way or the other. You can count on it. In fact, we're already starting to see some of it unfold. Bush will be looking over his shoulder the rest of his pathetic life.

6. Is that what you think karma is? Even Earl knows better than that.
