Is Joe S. gonna be a grown up about this inaugural or will it be one big whine fest
on his show?

D'ya think he has it in him to stop acting like a 2 year old who didn't get his way and start actually "covering" the event? Will Mika finally get fed up and tell him to shove it?

Am I asking for too much?

1. Here's an idea;

Why put yourself throught it?

2. You speak truth. Actually, I never make it through his show and in fact get fed up
early on. I wouldn't tune in at all if it weren't for the fact that he has some good guests on whose views I do respect and want to hear.

3. You know how often he is away "on assignment" these days?
I've come to the conclusion that he's meeting with RNC people to plan propaganda campaigns for the next few years. He definitely has an agenda.

4. I notice Joe's only on until 10:00 on Tuesday.
After that it's Matthews, Olbermann, and Maddow from 10 till 4.

9. Joe will do what is there to do- establish the conventional wisdom that DC has decided on
Fox & Friends is slightly different because they arm their watchers with that mornings talking points

mostly they are the same

Compare Joe to Stephanie Miller- how could they NOT want that face on TV every morning? (Miller that is) the reason is because people might leave the house thinking something other than what was decided around the cocktail parties/blackberry messages/phone calls from the night or weekend that lead in to it. Can't have that now can we?

11. I gave him a chance this morning
on the "special edition" of Morning Joe....had to turn it off, he acted like a Dick. Had to be a bummer by saying that everyone was optimistic about Jimmy Carter, and then he "failed" to change the tone of Washington. Said that even though Reagan came into under a wave of optimism, he didn't get an inauguration like this because "establishment Washington" wasn't with him because he was in the "wrong party" (liberalbiascakes, blah blah blah). Then tried to say (when Mike Barnicle made a dig at Gingridge in the 90s, partisan division, etc), Joe started saying that he was one of the "only ones in Congress....along with a few other REPUBLICANS" who would cross over the room to talk to Democrats, and "NO OTHER DEMOCRATS" crossed the room to talk to Republicans. We knew you were Newt's protege, you slimey piece. Stop trying to white wash. He is such a cry baby. As I said, I gave it a chance, but had to turn it off.
