1. I'm planning on happy. And at times I am happy.
But I'm so disgusted with that whole bunch (bushco & co). Maybe because it's over finally, but I just find myself angered and disgusted by any mention of them. SO much bs we were subjected to. Obama is such a contrast. Imagine 8 years of Gore followed by Obama. Wow.

Hopefully I'll get over it tomorrow ; )

2. I think what I'm trying to say is that for today and tomorrow--I'm just going to choose Happy
And then I'll return to the rest of it. I am just so grateful that for once, we Americans, didn't just vote in some other Republican clone determined to ruin what's left of our democratic ideals.

Bush? Like burying a bad relative and paying for the funeral to boot.

3. I'm once again...
blown away! Although, the sudden switch of the media to recognition of our decline scares the shit out of me. I don't know what they're getting us ready for, but it's an amazing turn around from the denial, denial, denial. But I'm still absolutely loving it.

4. Yeah 2009 is going to suck. It was bad when Bush Sr. was in office too.
But we got through that we'll get through this too. What we can't afford to do is allow the Bushes or the Republicans so much of a square inch of forgive and forget. They haven't earned it and they don't deserve it.

Time for America to take care of its own problems. And that will be a decided test for Obama.

6. That's right. Keep the pressure on. Remind them that they too can lose their cushy little
ass kissing, lobbyist love fest jobs. We don't have to settle for this level of corruption in this country.

AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO.
