... and purred and purred ... he NEVER does that and generally cannot stand to be petted.

He's a French Chartreaux...



... and I joke that he "says" that he can't wait for a the nation to have a "proud black man" in office "just like him."

So for him to react like that while Barack was speaking was very fitting.
