that the word is "tempt"? Or would that just be your sloppiness because of your typo?

If you're ready to be treated the way that you treat others, you need to be more perfect, or at least find more out about those of whom you speak.

why Our President wouldn't just have some servant bring apples whenever, so he could have something more impressive on that table.

I am proud to say that the President IS a Teacher.

54. Then can we PLEASE get rid of the damn rug?
Edited on Sun Jan-25-09 01:38 AM by calimary
I don't want ANY touch of bush remaining there. I want it all cleaned out, all new, all unpoisoned, all detoxified, pure and unadulterated and uncontaminated. Better no trace of him had been left behind. Fucking rug. The only thing good about it is how you can wipe your feet all over it. Anyone on it is giving the whole bush thing the bottoms of their shoes.

It IS, however, awfully nice to see Hillary in there. She's so brilliant, such a great person to have on the team. And truly handsome woman - with gravitas in her own right. THEY'VE got sarah palin. WE'VE got Hillary Clinton. NO comparison. Like apples and fleas.

63. Not at that moment, but the thought actually did cross my mind. Maybe he was
thinking about saving a little money. The rug is still in good shape. It's just that it belonged to the baddest of the bad guys, so I'd be concerned about the bad juju it still might have in it.

He has GOT to get rid of that rug!

Okay, with that out of my system for the day - yes, it's a great photo. Those two are going to work well together. :)

Wondering idly if Obama took some time off today (Sunday), or just worked right through the weekend.

7. Don't give the right wingers any ammunition
Apples provide roughage in the digestive tract.

People who come to the Oval Office and eat those apples gain roughage.

Once filled with said roughage, it gives the right wingers the opportunity to state:

"President Obama's people are full of 5H!t"

21. No, no, no. The whole idea of roughage is that it makes you less full of shit,
instead of forever marinating yourself in the secretions of your excreta, like some anal, shall we say conservative, types.

There's a whole other stink to air out of our government and the first few days have been a damn good start. I don't want him to even think about something as superficial as that.

Obama hasn't changed the furnishings (I hope he'll just drag the Clinton stuff out of storage; it gave the oval office a much more serious "let's get down to business" look). But understandably, so far he's had much more important things to focus on.
