Now that the Presidential election is over and Obama has been inaugurated as our 44th President, should we go back to Three posts per person per day? I find that we are repeating themes and re-posting information already debated earlier in the day and we are posting other non-Presidential topics. So, here is my vow: I will limit myself to three a day, unless and Earth-shattering event occurs, for example, if Rumsfeld is indicted on war crimes. ;)

1. Three posts a week might...
reduce some of the dupes and bullshit around here.

(It'd take three posts a month for any hope of eliminating all of it.)

2. YES YES YES YES and YES
Upon the next controversy (or non-troversy), sort GDP by author. You will see there are some people that post multiple OPs - all negative - about the same (p)outrage. It's all an attempt to get attention and start a flamewar.

I'm not saying people shouldn't post if they are upset at something. I'm all for free speech and dissent. But ONE thread is more than enough for all of us to arrange ourselves into a circular firing squad and let each other have it.

And if nobody responded to your post the first 3 times you posted it, posts 4 & 5 probably aren't going to get you the attention you seek either.

3. Definitely agree. Some posters seem to just like to see their name
on the OP but saying very little in their posts... Much repetition, little content.

4. That limit was a temporary measure during primary season.
And was imposed because of the massively hideous shit flinging contest between Hillary supporters and Obama supporters.

I do not see any such emergency at the moment.
