Well - Hell - If The Repug Version Of Economic Stimulus Will Create Over 6 Million......
jobs - or twice as many jobs than the Dems bill - I think we need to let them pass it and then let the chips fall where they may when that doesn't happen.

Obama should say - ok guys - if you are so confident and have this economic model that can create 6.2 million jobs - then we should go with your bill.

Right - we're going to believe you - given that it was your Repug administration over the last 8 years that created this situation we're in today. We're going to do the same thing you've been doing for the last 8 years and expect a different result.

What is it - are the Repugs not getting anything out of the Dem bill? Do they feel that they are being left out. How come all of a sudden - they've done a 180 and are now crying that it is our children and our children's children that will be paying. How come all of a sudden we're spending too much money? Where were they over the last 8 years?

I'm sick of this. How come no matter what is done - they always take the other side? Don't they know how to cooperate? Don't they care about this country? Haven't they been embarrassed enough over the last 8 years? Why are they looking to be embarrassed some more?

I really would like to understand them.

1. No
Not unless there's a guarantee that the jobs are created and kept here in the US. The last time the repukes had this thought, those tax cuts for the rich created jobs overseas.

3. Since the media won't call them on it,
the ignorant will buy what the GOP is selling.

The smarter folks understand that this is just play from the political playbook; opposed what is being proposed, and pretend that you have something better to offer, even if you don't.

Since the media doesn't seem interested in discounting the GOP bullshit, they are just as complicit
as they were when the helped Bush march us to war.

I remember Kerry pounding home this point about the lack of "tax cut jobs" in 2004, but not enough people listened to him.

6. "We're going to do the same thing you've been doing for the last 8 years...

You know what that is, right? Yep. That's a definition of insanity.

We can't understand them. I've tried - in my own case, I'm just hardwired in a way that Republican ideas simply do not make sense. I try to wrap my mind around them, but I just can't. I'm about ready to give up trying...

8. There is a lot of vitriol in the House today, right now.
Is that what you are watching on CSPAN? I personally don't buy the double the jobs meme they are pushing. The Dems are hitting back hard. If you can, tune in. Boner up now.
