NY'ers on Gillibrand: 51% approve, 28% disapprove of her appointment (Sienna poll)
I particularly find it interesting that this unknown senator would beat two-time mayor Giuliani by 2%, and that other guy King who's been in politics for a gazillion years, by a wide margin.

1. Those are pretty unexceptional numbers. Looks like it's neither a winner or a loser for Paterson.

2. For being right after she's introed, when nobody knows her, they're pretty good.
If the people who are undecided about her break even, she'll have a 60+ percent approval rating.

3. King is a psychotic asshat.
He's the guy who said we've got too many mosques in America, and that being in Baghdad was just like being in Manhattan. He'll lose to any Democrat with a pulse.
