If so, that would be awesome, he should do that.

1. I don't see why not.
Refuse to give them any more money until they give the money back and also force them to restructure their salaries, now. This should be in any future bail out bill.

No exceptions.

2. That would be the ticket. You are not eligible for TARP funds
if you paid out bonuses over "X." If you want/need to qualify, recover those funds. End of story.

4. I agree.
t's pretty simple if they want more money later on down the road. I hope congress passes a bill like senator McCaskill's that would limit salary to $400,000 which would include pay, and any kind of bonus's. It's crazy for those people who caused the melt down to get millions, even billions in salaries, bonus's, and stock options. It's the taxpayers money, lets make the rules tough so we get some real change for our money!

6. That's not enough. Not only should the CEO bonus money be taken back, but the whole
amount given to the company should be taken back as well. Let it fucking go under as a lesson to others. It's not a company's poor performance that created this mess, it's a mindset and a whole way of thinking. The bailout bonuses were just a symptom of a much larger problem.
