the good thing about Obama 'reaching across the isle' early in his Presidency...
...he got his hand bitten right up front and learned off the bat that these Republicans ALWAYS put party before country, no matter how dire the consequences. Hopefully, he will NEVER, EVER forget it!!!

Mitch McConnell and whispers in his ear just loud enough for the entire entourage to hear "Mitch, I tried to extend an olive branch and look where it got me. So now I'm going to have to slap you upside your lipless head with that olive branch, you obstructionist turd. By the way, I smell urine, Mitch. Is that you, Mitch?"

4. Many people warned Obama, Clinton tried & still they went after him unmercifully...republicans
Edited on Thu Feb-05-09 08:53 PM by GreenTea
do not want to see workers, poor & middle class get ahead, If anyone (Dems) tries to help the workers...The greedy republicans/corporations will bring you down anyway they can, lies smears and distortions are just the beginning.

Republicans do NOT want Dems to try to use government to help the tax payers if they do the republicans will bring you down, ruin you and crush you as fast as they can.
