Gibbs is really loosening up, finding his voice, and doing very well...
Not so many uhs and ums today I notice. He looks like he's starting to have a lot of fun with the press corps. It's been since the first of the week since I've caught him. He's gotten into the zone.

1. It has to be crazy intimidating in the beginning.
I thought he'd hit his stride soon though.

They had knives out for him the first few days...
That sure didn't help. I caught a pic of him on Air Force One yesterday. He looked relaxed and like he was enjoying himself.

I think he's really enjoying this, and it starting to show.

5. I think thats the key. Someone who LIKES it.
And has the knowledge to do it well.

2. I agree
I have been watching today too and they all seem to be liking, at least respecting each other. More CJ Craig, less Dana Perino.

3. He's excellent at reframing things without making a big deal out of it.

Part of the reason the quality of the questions has improved since that shill left is because Gibbs treats the press like adults, too. He's a grown up talking to grown ups, not Vanna White pointing to a product.

4. Everyone forgets that they've had their jobs for 17 days now.
Seriously, I was still looking around for where paper was 17 days into the job, much less running the country effectively. Granted, there are different expectations involved, but no one should expect perfection this soon.

6. On another note...
Chuck Todd still looks like he's an ass. CNN's online feed cut to him standing up when the session ended. He had this blank look on his face like a deer in front of an oncoming car.

7. I missed it.
Is there a replay later or a video somewhere on the net?

11. I saw that! It was priceless~
And, some worried that the comedians wouldn't have any material with an Obama admin.
