We should have called their bluff.
We are so weak, it is disgusting. When they had two senators over fifty, they rules like Cesear, we have fifty eight, and rule like we have forty eight. We suck. We have no spine. Reid and Pelosi are wusses.

THEY are bullies, and the only way you beat a bully is to stand up to a bully. They have threatened, postured, and dictated the policy on this for the last two weeks.

I am not asking us to be imperialistic, but we certainly should have shown them that we do not fear them. In all honesty, who care if it goes to a filibuster? Wait it out, make them do it. I fear that Obama's first two years are going to be exaclty like this, with the Republicans being extremely efficient obstructionists, and quite frankly, I say call their bullshit.

Principled is great. To not fight based on a principle is good, but Harry Reid showed long ago that he was "weak." Big difference.
