If you purchase and install a Radeon "All In Wonder" video card, such as:

You will have TV on your machine, along with the ability to record TV, and other cool features. I'd imagine this is how the poster is doing it, but I'm not really sure.

The above card is what I'm personally running ... It's getting a little long in the tooth, but it was sure the cats meow a couple years back. It was top of the line for, oh, about 72 hours before something better came out ... you know how it is in out here in Techno-land ;)

A lower-end, or older AIW, such as the AIW9000 can be gotten for pretty damn cheap - perhaps $50 or less, and for the simple purpose of watching or recording TV should perform perfectly acceptably.

Disclaimer: If I personally were going to buy another AIW, I would not even consider going any lower-end than the ATI AIW 9600XT

Right? How does it follow that they must be fake? Did she say, "I didn't type them, and I know that no one else did; therefore they must be fake", or did she say, "I don't know, I certainly didn't type them ... they might be fake"? If she said the latter, it's possible that another secretary, or the guy himself, typed them.

I just don't get the "logic". How does one person not typing the documents prove that the documents are forged?

She confirms the content, and them some -- adds weight to the core issues involved.

They can't call her a liar, nor can they say she's truthful. They lose either way.

At first, this thread got me excited, but now you've got me confused!

Can someone explain this whole situation to me here with this woman? Is she the one who's supposed to have typed these memos herself, and now she's saying she didn't, and that they use the wrong terminology, and therefore ... WHAT? What does the info she's added to the discussion really amount to?!? Is she saying they're physically faked, but actually 'true'?

OMFG, *that* would be about THE WORST friggin thing to have come out after Rather/CBS has put their necks on the line saying that they are real - or am I totally missing something? Her 'word' that they are accurate, but not necessarily 'authentic' will be twisted IMMEDIATELY into 'see, we told you they're forged' by every other media whore apart from CBS, and there will be NO coverage of her confirming thir accuracy. Esp. since thats been the angle they've all been reporting all along :(

She hasn't proven they're forgeries.
She has confirmed every ounce of their content and then some.
She has said such memos did exist and she did type them.
She has ADDED WEIGHT to the issue that the Chimp did not fulfill his responsibility and the more important issue that there has been a COVER-UP.

Cuz if she WAS the one that was supposed to have typed them, but said she didn't, I can see the MW's covering NOTHING BUT that piece of her statement. In which case this would seem to be a major cluster-f*ck for 'our side' and the AWOL story...

For 90% of Bush supporters this will not matter. They too believe in a life of priviledge, and believe rules are for you and me, not for them.

But hopefully 2 or 3 percent of the population who haven't made up their minds yet will hear this 86 year old woman speak truth to power, and it will make a difference.

God help us if it does not.
