Rick Sanchez: I really can't stand Amy Holmes on any level.
Amy Holmes: In relation to the picture. "I don't think it was a depiction of Barack Obama. Referring to politicians in Congress."

Why the fuck does CNN allow these people on air?

The Professor a Black man called her a foolish. He clearly said that Obama was associated with the bill. Amy is a waste of air and sometimes she just offends me.

I'm sorry this picture was offensive and for her to defend this fool. When he even buried himself with the statement that, "If it was anyone it would be the House Leader, Nancy Pelosi..." WTF?! And she's defending this.

Ever since she pimped herself as a Conservative Independent (ie Republican) since I thought Independent put you apart from Conservative or Liberal, and hence I went by that title. Anyway now she's supporting this nonsense. And when she was told that the idea is foolish, automatically she's like and this is why we can't have a proper conversation because we're called foolish. No, no...when you have twist and turn to defend some bullshit it is foolish.

I think I'm more upset because she goes by this whole thing of being "educated" but she just ignores race issues unless it blasts Obama through the Bradley Effect which she pimped out gladly as Obama's probable demise (ie in the sense of losing the General Election).

1. Conservative black talking heads are the weirdest bunch
they really seem to have no sense of honesty and have no souls. they will say anything, make any excuse, look like the most foolish fools, just to continue to stay in the good graces of the conservatives. Black conservatives really disgust me.

4. A teacher of mine who specializes in race issues said to me that if he dissed Blacks
his income would rise by 4x. He would be on television and make serious money to insult and degrade Blacks. I was shocked, but apparently he was in the know of what they do and he knows a few of the talking heads personally.

9. I don't want to think like that...but damn. I always disliked her but she just utterly
disappointed me just as a human being. It was just...I felt like screaming although I knew it meant nothing.

5. Cross-eyed Christie said HE didn't see it as racist, either, but he can't see straight,
so he has an excuse. When he stuck up for the cartoon, Roland Martin shook his head in disbelief and pretty much put him in his place last night (on AC360).

7. I saw that. I wanted to slap that guy into seeing straight.
God he pissed me off so much. I just don't see why this is so hard to see. Even the White people on the shows were utterly offended. And they couldn't get a clue?

15. Might be a glass eye
If it were a muscle pulling that eye out of sync he could have it fixed very easily. It is very disconcerting. If it is a glass eye I don't think there is much that can be done so that it tracks correctly.

16. I don't think so...
I've been studying his eye very closely and I think that's just a problem with his real eye.

13. It's really disgusting on so many levels..
I really think it's a form of self hate. I think some of them they really need the "approval" of whites to feel they are doing things the right way. I knew amy was lost a few years back before I even paid much attention to her politics. She was on the View talking about some dating website she belonged to that hooked you up with Jewish men. I'm thinking what the hell is wrong with this girl? I have no issue with inter racial dating, hell my mother was biracial but it was just her way. You could tell she wouldn't be caught dead with anyone her own race. She rubs me completely the wrong way. Why is it that no conservative black talking head has an issue with this cartoon? Is that like a major no no? If it is then you know something is terribly wrong.

23. I think it has less to do with getting "approval" and more with greed.....she is making bank doing
what she does.

24. I agree with the money issue. I'm sure she is making big dollars..
but the approval thing is still an issue for me. For example, I have a friend who told her teen son to remove his hat at a basketball game. I asked her why and she said so he won't look like a thug. I pointed out a bunch of white kids in the crowd with hats on and asked her if it was okay for them to wear them and we both had to laugh. That's what I mean about approval...maybe it's not the right word but she really felt uncomfortable worrying about what others would think of her kid. Some of us take that to the extreme. Sometimes I think it's unconscious but in other cases people like amy and ron make me think thats part of their issue.

22. It's a GOP "sickness"
Because this is "black and white" (excuse the pun), it's a little easier to see the sickness that is the GOP. Even if it's offensive to oneself, family, loved-ones, etc. one MUST (Nazi-like) give the "salute" and walk the party line. You cannot be a Repuke if you have once ounce of individuality in you. Rich fat cats call the shots and you, the foot soldier, must obey or be driven into oblivion.
