Conservative accuses Steele of "trying to establish his own manhood" in dust up with Rush
It doesn't look like the intra-GOP furor over Rush Limbaugh is going to die down anytime soon.

This morning conservative Bobby Eberle attacked Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele for saying on CNN over the weekend that Limbaugh was an entertainer whose radio show was sometimes "incendiary" and "ugly." Steele has since backed off the comments.

Eberle says at The Loft blog that Steele was trying to "establish his own manhood" and his comments have ignited the grassroots base. "Since when is promoting conservativism ugly?" asks Eberle's headline.

2. Well, obviously Mr. Steele failed.
And the communities of color will see this and know exactly what Mr. Steele is, a token, and he won't have any credibility there either.

Mr. Steele lost any respect he may have had in the black community with this apology nonsense and it appears that he never had any in the Republican party. It's got to suck to be him.

Regards

6. Yes, "Eberle" and "Talon" and "Gannon" are woven together forever for me. Plus, how
shitty for Steele that he's being told, in effect, he ain't got no stinkin' manhood in this job--he's just window dressing.

Not that I give a crap that Steele's been shown up as a powerless figurehead.

8. Steele was specifically chosen
because of Obama, now, most republican will disagree with this analysis but thats the fact
and nothing is more obvious than the treatment he is getting right now from the conservative
movement, bottomline is.....

STEEELE IS THE BOSS BOY your typical quote on quote UNCLE TOM nothing more
nothing less, he might disagree but those are the facts.

He is not allowed and will not challenge Rush Limpballs because he is seen as the pall
bearer of the republican party, and they want black people to support them, support what?
a party that does not believe in affirmative action and also a party that believes in
dividing to conquer...please.....

Doldrums, they're gonna be there for a very looong time.

9. This public spat is just a symptom
Limbaugh has been crushing these people on his radio show for ages. I mean absolutely blasting them.

GOP leaders are not what they purport to be. "Conservative" is just a role they play during election cycles. They gave up on it long ago because right-wing thinking is indefensible. But fat boy won't let it go! This is great!

R W voters are holding their leaders to what they said. But what they said was always bullshit. Now they know it. But fat boy won't let it go!

Their party is imploding and I am loving every minute of it.

15. Maybe in fifth grade that's a pertinent concern but quite soon afterward most
folks move on to more complex considerations in a human life.

I have no idea in hell what is inspiring Michael Steele to behave like such a fool these past few weeks, but whatever it is, it sure has him by the handle and is shakin' up a storm.

22. Translated - Steele got to uppity and Rush put him in his place.
Sorry if that's harsh but I am just calling it as I see it.

This will prove once again the Repug party is not the inclusive party it is trying to portray. Minorities and women must stay in their given roles and stay in their place. Just sayin...
