Calling all White Folks! Y'all didn't even know what Bamboozle meant! Hahaha
Y'all might have thought it means to be tricked, conned.....have the wool pulled over your eyes, right?

Well according to MSNBC, y'all would be WRONG!

Per the MSNBC Chatter Channel journalism Geniuses, when Barack Obama uses it, it's Code Talk (only Black people understand this, and since you're not Black, you have no clue....cause he's going over your heads).

It really means, "I'm like Malcom X"! See....only Black people would know this, and they are laughing at you right now, cause y'all didn't even know!

Yep...I saw that on my TeeVee about an hour ago!

Who Knew about this odd phenomenon? Not Y'all. cause it's CODE! (neener, neener, neener!)

So next time President Obama talks, Y'all White Folks just need to find a Black Person near you, to find out what the President really meant to say.

But think about the genius that is Obama! This could help the economy in a long run. Black folks can open up "Translating the Obama Code" shops all over these United States. Then, Y'all White People can come in and get a CODE deciphering for a relatively low price. This might just make a dent in the unemployment of Black people, especially in those states where it is running at like.....50%+ (according to a genius thread from yesterday).

Some will call it Affirmative Action, no doubt!
But you know what I say? Hell...if Da Vinci could have a CODE, why can't President Obama have one too? Just Sayin'!

Y'all straight on that? (that's Code too!)

That's more of an age and regional thing, IMO. Malcolm X didn't cross my mind at all when he said the word, and it probably didn't cross Obama's mind either. I guess when he says a word a white historical figure used he will be speaking code to whites, by that logic.

I don't think people took it that way. It's just such a stupid article. Secret code is just so silly.

Malcom X gave a speech where he was talking to blacks and said, "You've been hoodwinked. You've been had. You've been took. You've been led astray, led amok. You've been bamboozled."

http://www.mojoflix.com/Video/White-Eddie-Murphy.html

Eddie Murphy suited up as an Anglo on Saturday Night Live in the early eighties. Disguised as a nasal-voiced white businessman with a brush mustache, Murphy goes undercover and “discovers” a secret life of privilege. Newspapers are free; on a city bus, when the only black man aboard disembarks, the white patrons sigh with relief, take off their coats to reveal party clothes, and begin swilling champagne.

When Murphy visits a bank, the loan officer spreads out fistfuls of dollars, telling him, “Pay us back anytime you like. Or don’t!”

The skit concludes with Murphy back in the dressing room, warning viewers that this is only the first step: “I’ve got a lot of friends, and we’ve got a lot of makeup.”

Also note the bold above for the TRUE secret to why the banks collapsed.

Jonathan Swift condemned the word in 1710 in his "The Continual Corruption of Our English Tongue," along with such other recent coinages as "mob," "bully," "sham," and "bubble."

(Which seems odd, because Swift is also credited with coining the use of the word "bubble" in the current stock price sense, when he wrote in 1720, "The Nation too, too late will find/ Computing all their Cost and Trouble/ Directors Promises but Wind/ South Sea at best a mighty Bubble.")

Black folk started sending code words to each other back in 1939 in the movie "Gone With The Wind"

Mammy, Pork, and Prissy...house servants of the O'Haras... were all supposed to send code words giving details on an uprising. It would have worked, but poor Butterfly McQueen (Prissy) kept getting all hysterical and forgetting her lines.
