I Hate To Say This...
But I told you all Obama's involvement would lead to a Rove Testimony:

http://journals.democraticunderground.com/berni_mccoy/656

For reference, just read the link from my article to see all the DUers who rushed to judge Obama as a betrayer or the same type of politician as Bush.

Have we learned our lesson here?

1. Yes, I've learned we still have to push just as hard with this administration,
but that they listen just a bit better than the last one and that they may even be in it for the better good.

2. Actually it doesn't sound like you hated to say it at all.
I don't know who you are and when you 'told us all' all this stuff, but you have a very inflated sense of your own importance. I don't mind saying.

11. The reason why I hate to say it is that too many DUers too recently decided that Obama
was someone they needed to attack before knowing the facts.

It's sad to see people who believe they are the very definition of 'progressive' attack one of the most progressive Presidents in the history of the U.S.

3. The same ones who were bashing Obama when reports came
that he wasn't going after the oil companies. Then were shut up when he released his budget

4. Are you predicting that Rove will incriminate himself or someone else?
Or that a whole lot of boring footage of men behind microphones will come to nothing?

5. I expect that Rove will come down with a case of CRS. .
Will he be liable for obstruction if he does that?

7. No footage of anyone
Rove's testimony will not be on camera, nor will he be under oath. So no footage, boring or otherwise.

10. I think we as citizens...
...should insist that we get, at the very least, a lot of boring footage before the Bushies walk. How else can we prove that our democracy works?

6. So you mean to say the The President of the United States knows more about the inside dealings....
.... of the White House than posters on a message board?

How DARE you! :sarcasm:

Barack Obama has yet to deviate from the principles and values that caused me to vote for him. I doubt he ever will.

However when you're LOOKING for him to do you wrong .... it's very easy to find a headline to support your search huh? ;)

8. Pats on the back are always nicer when given by someone else.
When you have to pat yourself on the back the whole self congratulatory thing rings kind of thin even if it is true. It's better to let others sing your praises.
