1. I'm watching it on C-Span....meantime the Cable Chatter Channels
continue droning on about nothing.

And then we try to figure out why the public is uninformed.

3. I love the way that these corporate interests have to present their case
in public......being identified as they speak!

President Obama is nothing short of brilliant on this!

:applause:

4. Exactly...
It's very entertaining and talk about transparency. Then we can easily boycott a few of these punkers. On a side note..I don't mind the idea of the gov subsidizing a few gyms so we can combat the obesity problem. We need more preemptive care. Or at least allow gym memberships to be covered on this single-player plan. I'm telling you...people will join if that happens.

U. of Washington at St. Louis' PHD Program to study Obesity and eating disorders as a clinical spychologist (she got the confirmation of her acceptance just yesterday!)

She wants to go into policy research, and it looks like she picked the right area to concentrate on at the right time!

I'm so proud (which is why I'm spilling all of her business right here! LOL!
Plus, she's only 21....so she'll be a 26 year old PHD when all is said and done!
Yeah....I'm beaming!

11. Orrin Hatch is full of shit!
Talking about Ted Kennedy.....and how we should pray for him, cause he's the only one that can do the Leadership role. But he didn't really say much about anything, while taking up a lot of time.

12. Enzi (Republican) from Wyoming is now talking......
Edited on Thu Mar-05-09 02:55 PM by FrenchieCat
He's not saying all that much thus far, thanking people and bullshit like that....saying he likes the round table format.

In otherwords, nothing about health care, just talking about the process. Guess he doesn't realize that we already know it was a good idea, and hopefully, he will give our President Credit.

OK, now he starts with the real bullshit...."adopting another country's system won't work" :boring:

Now he's back to talking about process.
And this guy is a ranking member of the Health, Education, and Labor committee?

Now he is pushing Medicare Plan "D"...which of course is part of why we are being bankrupted long into the future! :eyes:

He's taking up precious time, and has offered not one goddam thing!
Orin is talking again. :boring:

18. I liked what Congressman Pomeroy had to say.
Pomeroy said the goverment should not be giving our money to private insurance companies. Hell, the private insurers are going to take 30% off the top and put it right in their own pockets.

Think AIG folks!!!!! AIG insurance sure has been doing a heckofajob for the American taxpayer with all their bailouts. :sarcasm:
