Example why the Cable Chatter Channels aren't worth SHIT, NOT even on a STICK!

While we are falling into a depression, losing jobs by the minute, and the stock market is crashing, the Long awaited televising of this Health Care Summit is not even worth coverage from them.

1. Proof.
John Steward. He is all we have.

A comedian. A great comedian, but still a comedian.

Pathetic, no?

2. fwiw, they did cover the president's opening remarks. But I
catch your drift. Why isn't this summit considered important? There are a whole lot of Americans who'd like to hear what's going on.

4. But.. but.. a couple of hours ago they went on and on about Michael Jackson
and this was on MSNBC when I switched from CNN with its iReport. A good trick. Save them money on real reporters - at least the ones with some credentials who have to be paid.

7. Aye....him and Enzi....a waste of forum time,
but I guess we have to suffer through it.

They are talking about process, rather than any substance.
Pres. Obama already came up with the process of hearing the voices. Hel-lo!

8. A lot of this mess
Was done to make sure that Obama could "NOT" get his health care reform through. Once the republicans knew they didn't stand a chance of winning the election, the whole goal became making sure thy screwed things up so bad that Obama could not do what he told the people he was going to do during the race. Bush and his gang helped out their buddies, out and drained the treasury at the same time by coming up with the first bunch of bailouts with no strings attached! Those corporations that would be hurt if Obama gets the health care reform are not going to take this lying down. They don't care about markets, or anything else. Sure the market is dropping, and those with the big money are making a killing buying up cheap stocks, but it all has to do with tying Obma's hands. If they can get the majority of americans to say " forget health care" and only dwell on the economy, they will win. Stocks will come back up, it will take years to for the average investor to regain their losses, but if Obama has to keep bailing out banks, and coming up with stimulus packages, there will be not money for anything else, and the powers that are working against Obama know that.

The MSM isn't going to show much on the health care idea because they are owned by corporations that are controlled by republicans.

9. At least it got bumped up from CSPAN3 to CSPAN....
.... because the Congress took time off to go to lunch or something.

I say that ..... because I read it somewhere else, cant verify as my dear darling Gibbanator is holding court with the press.

I'm recording CSPAN in hopes of getting it though.

11. Well I spoke too soon....
.... because MSNBC just cut away from Gibbs to cover Barbara Bush's doctor's press conference where he (the doctor) described her as "the most beloved person in the world."

Huh?

She's been out of the White House for how many years now?

PUT ROBERT GIBBS BACK ON MY SCREEN NOW!!!!!!!!!!

12. The latest IMO atrocity of vacuity is the M$M publishing the 911 audio of the Octuplet Mom ...
Edited on Thu Mar-05-09 03:09 PM by ShortnFiery
when she thought that one of her children might have been abducted last October (2008). Here this woman is all hyped up hormonally - what would you expect her emotional mood state to be in this crisis given her physiological condition?

HOWEVER, if the Octuplet Mom was as independently wealthy as Angelina Jolie, the M$M would MOSTLY be singing her praises because she'd have the cold hard CASH to hire all the caretakers she needed.

It's vile. As an Addiction Counselor, I'm profoundly ashamed of my fellow Psychological Professionals who come on the air to disrespect her. They have NO MORAL COMPASS. Not that much unlike the Psychologists who were consulted at Guantanamo as to how to make prisoners MENTALLY BREAK DOWN.

Hey superficial dumb asses in the pseudo-journalistic M$M? ENOUGH ALREADY! :grr:

15. The Millionaire Sleazsbag Media isn't worth shit.
I have almost completely stopped watching. I rarely tune in before Shuster's show and then sometimes tune back in for KO and/or RM.

For the most part, they are a complete and total disgrace, and have helped push America to the brink.

I no longer watch corporate news - which is what the news has been pretty much reduced to - just a bunch of corporate propaganda.
