quote
"Listen, health care is a privilege"
Asked who is not entitled to health care, Wamp responded, "An employee who rejects the health care provided by their employer ’cause they don't want any of the money deducted from" their pay check. He again insisted, "Half the people today choose to remain uninsured. Half of them don't have any choice, but half of them choose to, what's called, 'Go naked.' And just take a risk of getting sick.

3. I watched this when it happened - the guy was unbelievable.
And to her credit, Tamron Hall jumped all over him. This point needs to be hammered on over and over again - Republicans think health care is a privilege. They don't see it as a moral or ethical issue; that every human being deserves to be treated if they are sick.

Republicans say if you are sick and cannot afford the treatment - too damn bad. You die.

6. You give the people of this area too much credit.
I've seen him elected over and over and over and over again and he's just as big of a turnip truck bubba as he was when he started.

His initial campaign promise was that he'd only run for ONE term ..... ONE term .... he is now in term number EIGHT.

Guess the Congress' health care plan is just too good to give up. :)

7. That's his district, not the state...
People get sick in TN too, and people are looking for answers as opposed to illness and death. Whomever runs agains him should run commercials of this guy burying those that "didn't have insurance".

If the D congress and Obama can get some stuff off the ground, this guy will look like the jughead he appears to be to me.
