1. Shame on you!
I doubt that this person was sporting the "W. I voted for him. It's my fault" sticker.

2. What's our fault?
Did everything go straight to hell in the last 2 months, and I was asleep the last 8 years?

3. It's going to be our fault when Obama turns out to be a communist cyborg...
from the future.

Or something.

4. Bingo.
Everything was ducky until January 20th. I can't speak for anyone else, but I yearn for the good old days of W's utter disregard for the Constitution and his duties as president. There's nothing I like better than a dictatorship that's entirely indifferent to the plight of its people!

5. "Thank me for voting for Obama"
How 'bout that?

I saw one after the 2000 election that read "Don't blame me. I voted with the majority."

15. I want one of those--but I already have the Obama sticker and the big MoveOn "we won" sticker
So I think people get the message anyway. :-)

6. What sort of asshole has a bumper sticker on their car?
Left, right whatever. If someone has a bumper sticker on their car more likely than not they are an asshole.

Dig this: Nobody cares what you think. (A corollary to this is nobody cares what I think, but here you are.)

You have every right to put whatever you want on your car. It does not mean you are not an asshole if you have a bumper sticker on your car.

19. I'm not going to let labels like "asshole" keep me from excecising free speech.
Bumper stickers are a cheap way to express ideas without the filtration of an established media.

21. You make a nice circular argument.
Now I'm confused. Am I an asshole or not? I have an Obama08 on my F150. Am I an asshole, or not necessarily one?

22. If you have a bumper sticker, more likely than not you are an asshole.
Much higher percentage of the population with bumper stickers are assholes than the general population.

It is not the message - it is the medium.

For example, if in my devotion to our president and my sincere wish to get him reelected I made myself an "O-12" branding iron and went around branding people with said iron, my perfectly good desire - reelecting our president- would be overwhelmed by the crime of branding people against their will. Likewise with bumper stickers.

24. I think political bumper stickers are cowardly
It's an excuse for people to put confrontational statements out and not having to defend or answer for them. Drive by politics.

26. While I tend to agree ...
... I still have my bumper sticker that says "I Miss Being Irrationally Exuberant." It's funny how it's become timely again.

23. I'll gladly take the blame.
It's my fault Freepers. Blame me...
Blame me when you're able to get unemployment checks this year and jobs next year.
Blame me when you're able to afford medical care (because your crooked ass teeth and that funny pirate limp have gotz 2 go) and your children can afford medical care (because they shouldn't have to suffer just because you're white trash)
Blame me when solar panels get installed on houses across America, such as your neighbor's house.
Blame me when your children or your grandchildren get to learn how to read by a teacher who has the tools and funds to teach them with.
Blame me when soldiers from your hometown get to come from the fiasco that was Iraq.
Blame me when wireless broadband extends to the countryside via digital signal transmission.
Blame me when foreigners and foreign leaders respect us again.
Blame me when it's ok to criticize the Congress or the President w/o being thrown onto a No Fly List or shipped off to a CIA black site.
Blame me when your new car gets 30 miles to the gallon.
Blame me for wanting an America where race isn't an obstacle to get elected to the highest office in the land (It's more of a speed bump instead of a flat-out stop sign).
Blame me for wanting an America where I can see the colors of the sky rather than the colors of coal-fired plant emissions.
Blame me for wanting an America that doesn't torture or copy what Jack Baer does on "24".

I'll gladly take the blame. But if you blame me for Obama, I can blame you for the sins of Bush/Cheney, of which there are plenty (Katrina, Gustav, Iraq, etc). And from where I'm standing, your sins outweigh my sins by the same magnitude earthquakes are measured.

28. Wingnut at my office has 01-20-09 - The Day America Died on his black SUV
Before election he had a homemade of Obama in a head scarf with "Vote for Obama so I can blame you".

Funny part is stimulus tax credits will be offered to consumers on many of the HVAC products we sell.

But still when I walk around our building all I hear is Rush and Hannity blaring from the radios of the clerks & warehouse workers.

29. THE SAD THING IS EVEN WHEN OBAMA BRINGS THE
COUNTRY BACK AROUND THAT MENTALLY WOULDN'T CUT HIM ANY LEEWAY. THEY HATE HIM AND THEY ARE WILLING TO HAVE OUR COUNTRY TORN APART TO GET HIM OUT OF OFFICE. I REMEMBER WHEN BUSH WAS IN OFFICE I OFTEN WISH I COULD PUT A BUMPER STICKER ON MY CAR SAYING THE SAME THING. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS A COP WOULD STOP YOU AND HARASS YOU AND FIND A WAY TO GIVE YOU A TICKET. WHILE OBAMA GIVES US FREEDOM OF SPEECH. THATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATICS.
