I saw at least 20 Obama yard signs here in Madison today, even after 60" of snow
It was a warm day here in the Berkeley Of The Midwest and a perfect day to walk my dog home from work (she sleeps on my feet under the desk).

What was amazing that after months have gone since the election and about 60 inches of snow (melted now), there remain a lot of Obama signs on lawns.

Although it's not a scientific count, in my 3 mile walk, there were at least 20 Obama yard signs still on lawns in various stages of standing. One or two looked a little windswept, but nearly all have been cared for and remain there proudly.

Anyone else have their town donning Obama yard signs on their lawns?

1. I wish...unfortunately I live in a very red place where today's news
was about the dozens of protesters outside Ben Nelson's office mad because he voted for the stimulus package. :grr:

4. No. People would be fined if they still had political signs up.

5. I dont know about yard signs but I'm seeing more bumper stickers here in Tennessee...
... than I did BEFORE the election. At least it seems like it.

And then every now and then I see a McCain Palin sticker. Crazies.

..... and a "Bush '04" sticker.

8. My mom has hers up in her hospital room.

She told me tonight that her GOP brother visited yesterday and asked why she still has a sign like that up. She told him she LIKES it.

9. My "Christians For Obama" sticker is still on my Jeep.
I see a lot of Obama bumper stickers still on cars here in Michigan. My neighbor had a McCain sticker on last fall, but he peeled it off before the election. I thought that was funny!! I guess the more McCain spoke, the more embarrassed they got over supporting him.

10. There's one up right across the street from me here in Columbus.
I smile a bit whenever I see it from my front window. Another neighbor had a prominent Palin/McCain sign up, but it disappeared on November 4. I do see a few P/M bumper stickers around, but not as many as for Obama.

11. There are yard signs still up all over Philly
At first I thought they would come down after the election... Then I thought after the inauguration... But they are still there. They are like the exclamation points after a "Yes we did and don't you ever forget it!!!!!" yell.

I have never seen anything like it.

I had them up for the election, and then took them down.
They made a brief re-appearance for the innaguration.

ETA the stickers are still on my car and will remain there.
