6. I just learned something I didn't know. Even ronny reagan knew

to go back and increase taxes. Bush Sr. even had to go back and raise taxes. Dumb shrub never did.

7. Yup, Regan raised taxes about a year after he cut them...

...because he knew his tax cuts had gone too deep and he knew he had the verbal skills to sell it as a "recalculation."

*Bush has neither the charm nor verbal skill that Reagan had.

Reagan was an amazing speaker, which is why I stopped watching his State of the Union Addresses after the first one, because I could feel his charm. Reagan's speeches were almost hypnotic.
