The AP is poking fun at the GOP's budget plan ...
House GOP offers budget blueprint but scant detail

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Republicans have released their response to President Barack Obama's deficit-laden budget, but their glossy pamphlet offers little beyond campaign-style talking points.

One of the few hard bits of information is a promise to simplify the tax code and cut income tax rates to 10 percent for people making $100,000 or less down. They also promise to cut domestic spending below current levels but don't say whether they are exempting Social Security. It's impossible to determine the projected deficit based on their offering.

The GOP plan comes two days after Obama criticized Republicans for offering criticisms of his budget blueprint, currently making its way through Congress, instead of solutions.

Republicans said more details will be out next week.

1. So ... why didn't they do any of this when they were running things?
For the last two months, they've claimed to have all the answers, yet they didn't do a damn thing when they controlled congress - they just kissed Bush's ass!

2. Because they're full of crap. All they want is to sabotage the recovery...
so they have a better chance of regaining control of congress. That's it.

3. Because they haven't got a plan
Obama and the rest of the administration shamed them into producing something and this is the best they could come up with.

I'm seriously starting to think the GOP leadership is in reality a really really good performance art group. There is no way that anybody short of a performance artist could come up with so many really stupid things.

5. I thought that they weren't going to be offering solutions anymore
just trying to sabotage Obama and the Democrats' plans ("saying NO")? Isn't that what John Boner said?
