Cartoon has a point.
Meghan is the type of person the GOP should be putting out there if they want to win elections.
Fortunately for us, the jackass base is so deluded, they're attacking her (just do a search for her on freeperville or any wingnut's blog).
And, since Rove entrenched these types in power so firmly, they'll win out in the GOP power struggle, guaranteeing us another few elections cycles of victories.

I wouldn't be too shocked if Meghan eventually becomes a Democrat.
