They are still trying to raise money for it! Then they have to actually build it which can take years.

8. Presidential libraries are private institutions
Not governmental ones, so I don't see why he would be obligated to dedicate it -- not legally obligated, anyway.

Of course, if he were invited and then refused to go, it would be seen as an insult and the usual suspects would throw their usual hissy fit. Which makes me hope he will refuse, if the issue arises.

They should place crime scene tape around the front of the library. I think that is a perfect symbol of his administration. Big yellow crime scene tape all around the fucking place, and then leave it there.
