It's quite clear that Republicans think that we're all idiots. That's how they defend torture

It takes HUNDREDS of waterboarding sessions to glean "actionable intelligence" from terror subjects?

It only goes to show that these "interrogators" were a bunch incompetent fools. Even agents of the FBI didn't want anything to do with this. It's not professional and not legal. The DOJ's faulty legalizing notwithstanding.

And notice how they NEVER address detainees who have died while in custody.

Depicting the detainees as some superhuman bad guys who required "enhanced interrogations" to break is just another way that they're fear mongering the situation. This goes along with the "terraists are still out to git us" and another bullshit excuses to say that the end justifies the means.

We EXECUTED Japanese World War II criminals for the same actions committed by those authorized by the Bush Administration.

I wouldn't be surprised that all of the "prevented" attacks touted as to the effectiveness of the torture sessions are nothing more than a combination of the tin-foil hat fantasies of former Bush Administration officials and the half-conscious ramblings of their torture victims.

THE END NEVER JUSTIFIES THE MEANS.

President Obama, prosecute THE MOTHERFUCKERS, right away!

1. I agree
What exactly is this "intelligence" they got-They can't seem to give us a specific instance of any "thwarted terror attack" .

They're waiting until the full attention of the nation is focused on a congressional hearing, and then they'll spring something. They're not stupid, they would have at least manufactured something.

Right now, there is a warehouse out in Rathole, Wyoming with a "bomb" in it that was "found" by enhanced interrogation techniques. There's also some Arabic documentation telling which city it was going to be used on.

We're not dealing with amateurs here.
