Today Specter said: "I'm a loyal Democrat. I support your agenda."

11. He would have still been against this as a Repub. You people have GOT to look at the big picture.

15. No, I'm fully aware of his position on Ms. Johnson as a Repub.
I'm just thinking if he's apposed to so many things within the Republican party and he's changed his mind on so many issues regarding them. For instance, a few weeks ago he stood up and said he would run as a Repub. Now he's a Dem. I'm hoping that along those lines a few policy and/or government hang ups would also change his position. My post is not to say I don't see that he would have done this or that as a Repub. But he's made changes and concessions to a be Dem...I was hoping this would have been one of those issues.

17. That doesn' t matter. Because O has gotten the pass on that if I remember correctly.
So he may not like it be has nothing to do about that. It's been decided and worked on, reconciliation is on the table even if he doesn't like it. Remember, we're not catering to him 100%, although I do admit I don't see much to him joining the pack.

20. He's big on healthcare reform, so may not make a big stink
about the budget tomorrow. I'm sure we'll find out if he's going to be more of a pain than he's worth.

19. But is he against cloture?
Ben Nelson will vote against Johnson but will not filibuster. I suspect that Specter will follow suit.
