If Republicans are so opposed to the SC making and overturning laws...

Does this mean they ultimately support the idea of upholding Roe v. Wade, since, you know, it's the law of the land?

1. I take it you saw that a-hole on The Ed Show.
Too bad for him that he got schooled.

3. I don't understand
They are so passionate about protecting a document that none of them had read. If they had read the Constitution they would realize that the Court exists as a coequal branch of government and (I'll generalize to make sense for the trolls) that was the basis for judicial review. The Courts are supposed to be the arbitrator between the Constitution and policymaking... sometimes this means striking down legislation.

Judicial Activism is just a code word for giving protection to gays and stopping abortion.

5. Don't you get it! When conservatives govern from the bench it's ENFORCING the law, NOT making them!
Lets explain this in real simple terms.

A conservative judge doesn't like a law, so they make a ruling that overturns it. They've just governed from the bench you think right? Well you're wrong, they're merely enforcing their new law that they just made from the bench!

Now when a liberal judge doesn't like a law and they make a ruling that overturns it, that's not enforcing the law, no, it's an evil liberal trying to govern as a legislator from the bench.
