Were the soldiers safety a consideration when the pictures at Abu Ghraib were released? What is so different with the recent pics?

3. I would rather err on the side of the law, justice and the truth.

Criminals have and are still running and ruining this country. They need to go to jail and we need to see the total extent of their crimes. Criminals like to hide their crimes from view.

are you a terrist?

by "soldiers" they mean the populace, and by "safety" they mean outrage and disgust so white hot that the status quo elite would be held accountable (for once) and that would make certain wealthy individuals unhappy, so they told Obama that he needed to protect the "safety" of the "soldiers."

To hell with the fragility of Pakistan. To hell with getting out of a tedious situation in Iraq. To hell with the possibility that this part of the world will believe the scenes in these pictures are happening now. To hell with Obama's concern for the big picture. I demand to see these pictures now! :sarcasm:

Our men and women over there are 'us' too. I don't get the disconnect. Guess they're 'just pawns' to more people than I'd have expected.
