The carpet coverage of this Notre Dame "protest" against the President is really starting to get on my nerves.

First of all, it seems to be a very, very small protest comparitively speaking. And everyone "protesting" seem to be a bunch of old people. If there are students against the visit by the President, then why aren't they out there protesting, too?

Polls this week have already shown that two-thirds of American Catholics in general, and a much larger percentage of Notre Dame graduating seniors, not only don't have a problem with the President giving the commencment address, but they are looking forward to it.

And yet, there it is every day for the last week on my TV screen. The story on ABC news tonight said the invitation had "divided" the campus. But the numbers disprove that. So do all of the images I've seen so far.

Anyway, just wanted to vent.....

Really. I'm not kidding. This is one little drop in that drip drip that will bring the lying media down. It has already become largely irrelevant thanks to the people who know how to look for the real news.
