Steele: 'Obama was not vetted because the press fell in love with the black man running for office'

Apparently unable to learn from egregious mistakes from the recent past, RNC Chairman Michael Steele once again took to the radio airwaves today as a guest host for Bill Bennett. Earlier this week, Steele declared “an end to the era of Republicans looking backward.” This morning, however, Steele revisited the 2008 election to insist that President Obama had never been “vetted” because the press “fell in love with the black man”:

Incidentally, I don't think Steele realizes that he wasn't vetted for his job either--the RNC just chose the black guy. And as for spewing old McCain/Palin campaign slogans, someone needs to tell him that the election's over and Barack Obama won by quite a bit.

Steele is like a crab in a crab bucket, because he didn't get somewhere first he is going to pull anyone else down with him.

I was able to get into this foreign land called Chicago where he spent most of his adult life. They have these odd things called newspapers and reporters who wrote things called articles about this Obama man for many years. The earliest I found was from January 1993.
There are also articles about him at this land called Harvard where he was this thing called president of this law review.

Through the Chicago papers I knew about Rezko...they dug way into it before Obama announced his run...looking at financing, any potential bills, his files in the law firm...so when it was brought up as some big unvetted thing I knew there was no there there...but of course most people couldn't know that because Chicago is so distant and hard to reach. In fact every pseudo-scandal were no secret or shame in Chicago...from Ayers to the "present" votes

Always puzzled me when I heard how "we know nothing", "he came from nowhere". That was when I finally realized I probably only knew all about him because I have super powers that enabled me to look things up from Chicago...my computer breaks through a mysterious force field. I am blessed in an evidently rare way

Both seem to be missing a large portion of their brains.

And as if people didn't dig up and talk about dirty parts of Obama's past on the news. Look at all the stuff they talked about during the 2 year campaign about Obama.

-His church & radical pastor

-His many present votes in the IL state senate

-All of his slip ups during the campaign, like saying PAers cling to guns & religion, Hillary is 'likeable enough'

-The whole celebrity attack thing

And not to mention a whole bunch of other things the GOP threw at him in ads.

haven't seen them love anyone since Bush....except Cheney!
