her statement doesn't seem bad to me....it kind of struck me as something that only um, racists would find racist. And why does Newt add the "also"? It reminds me of Sarah Palin's "also, too". And yeah, Newt is a prick. What else is new.

A party that calls anyone with pride in their heritage and their perspective a bigot.

If I were to think the way Newt (and the rest of the GOP spokesMEN) thinks...the only way to avoid identity politics (ie, Gender, and race) would be to pick white men for every job.

Total bullshit. as a woman, I completely offended. As an American I am ashamed that these people are saying these things.
