Isnt it about time for a boycottt on all Foxes advertizers?
Edited on Mon Jun-01-09 10:21 AM by Gman2
Wouldnt it be simple to accumulate a list of all their advertizers? To vow never to use their services again, giving them a short time to escape? This would be a watershed moment. And would usher in a feeling of strength. Leading to other worthy goals? The treason of FOX should be addressed by the free market. Free market discipline would be just deserts. If there are others that agree, lets start the framework for it. While we are at it, how about Free Republic advertizers? We have the numbers, we have the will, it might save countless lives. Or maybe even circumvent a hillbilly revolution{civil war}. How bout it? Kick the crap outta this if you want action and are tired of waiting for the terrorist army boot to enter your posterior. Lets show the other Americans how you deal with terrorists! Straight up. Lets roll.

3. What is not advertised with some News Corp Co.?
We would have to boycott, almost literally, everything. Maybe you can, but I will not boycott all goods and services.

4. In short order, they would be down to very few advertizers.
Oreilly has already lost a few. Do we believe in our cause or not? Why not generate the list, and see how many there are? If we refuse to exit our comfort zone, there will be nothing left worth saving.

6. Murdoch won't care.
His propaganda is worth so much in deregulation, environmental concessions, tax breaks, etc. that the advertising is marginal in comparison. He paid cable operators to take Fox "News" the first few years, an got his money back 100 times over in propaganda.

8. Not so sure. Obama has been setting up Rush and Billo for some time.
He got the tubolard to accept the reigns of Republican responsibility, and noone objected. Now, the message is out of control. Or maybe the best tack is to make them lose it. On air.

9. We could publich lists of competing companies that could allow
same products. There would be no need for suffering. That list of competing products, could be those companies that pledge good citizenship. A moderate Angies list.
