Bo Obama, that is.



The Obama family dog, Bo, bites a television camera's microphone in the Rose Garden of the White House during U.S. President Barack Obama's departure to Saudi Arabia for the first stop on a trip to the Middle East and Europe June 2


But, mercifully, a spot of tennis calmed him down:

7. Honestly, I hate dogs but i gotta admit...This thing is DAMN CUTE!
I cant stand dogs because of their smell and the need to walk it...i am a cat lover but everytime i see Bo i cant help but think damn that is a good looking dog! I am reconsidering my position on dogs.

Just happens to be rather lazy, non-chalant....he might play chase with his friends if he is in the mood. Otherwise (I swear) he will sit in the middle of a field with 10 of his doggie friends and proceed to do.......nothing...that's my boy!!:rofl:

Max is a small Rhodesian Ridback mix...she is the smart girl....

Max is a Viszla mix - he is the laziest of the two...sometimes he has a glimmer of brilliance but then it fades....:silly:

24. Your dogs are soooo cute! I love that Visla soft coat.
I just got another Chihuahua praying that this one would be a good friend with the one I already have and ...... they get along great! In fact with the playing and running around and growling and such I sometimes wish they would be a little more relaxed. But most of the time I just smile at them.

Paco is my new dog and he came here about 2 weeks ago with barely any hair. He was in real bad condition when he got to the pound. But now his hair is growing in and I can see the different colors now!

Puppies chew. There's a big difference between chewing and biting. There's a clip from NBC's special White House production (it should be on tonight) that shows Bo going after a fuzzy microphone. It's really funny. Tune in to see it!

34. If you want to have both a dog and a cat, the best time
to get a pup is probably when the cat is grown. That way, the pup won't go after the cat. ;-) There should be some good Bo coverage tonight on NBC.

35. Kitten and puppy
They will get along just fine. There may be some distrust for a short time, but then they will be OK, and if my own experience can be generalized, the kitty will act in turn as if the dog is his plaything and his protector.

42. NBC showed a film clip of the incident
It looked to me like Bo was playing "tug-of-war" with the microphone, as doggies like to do. They sold it as "Bo attacked the microphone", when it was more like "Bo found a new toy."
