There would be a revolution. The only way I could see it happening is if premiums were so low that a tax would still make the net effect less costly than what is happening now, and I just don't see it passing.

10. I hope you're right, but I doubt you are.

I figure it will happen very soon after Obama wins his second term. Sticking the rich with the bill entirely simply won't work, there are way too many loopholes.

The idea is to get people access to health care in a manner they can afford.

If employer group coverage is supposed to be part of the solution, then it seems pretty stupid to tax it to make it more expensive.

If employer group coverage is not supposed to be part of the solution, then it seems pretty stupid to use it as a revenue source since nobody is going to be using it.
