Did Obama ask Richard Wolffe to write the book on the campaign?

They just said he ask him to do it on Morning Joe. Are they telling the truth or not?

to be polite, and I could see Obama liking Wolffe. I doubt very much that he "requested" it or anything, but maybe Richard is suggesting as much for the marketing.

3. I recall shortly after the election that either Chris, Keith or Rachel asked him if he

planned to write a book since he'd been joined to Obama at the hip for so many months. He didn't say yes but said he was considering it. I remember thinking "yuh right considering it".

..... I agree, prob. be just a polite suggestion and better Wolffe than some other folks, but would the President be JUST as happy if NO ONE wrote a book?
