Joe Scarborough is SO ignorant! He thinks we on the left will be disappointed or surprised to see
that bin Laden doesn't like Obama, as if we expected Obama to "win over" bin Laden. How could he be so stupid??? We're not EXPECTING Obama to win extremists like bin Laden over. We're expecting Obama to win over REGULAR Muslims-ones that may be recruited by the likes of bin Laden by having a president who believes all Muslims are evil, that we're on a crusade, and that we need to force our way of life on them.

1. The M$M is bending over backwards to help the left to be disappointed...
can't really blame him for trying to make up reasons. It's part of the job, IMO.

2. I think this is a case of a RWer not getting it-I don't know ANYONE who
thinks Obama was trying to win over bin Laden. As a matter of fact, he repeatedly said we should've kept after him instead of diverting our attention to Iraq.

Wasn't it Scarborough and his friends that claimed Bin Laden wanted Obama to win. I guess he was wrong.

5. Ha! Unbelievable! I'm guessing that Scarborough is trying to deflect HIS angst at Laden hating O.
The Republican story line has always been that Obama and all muslims, incl. Al Qaeda and bin Laden, are together in ideology, and that bin Laden WANTED Obama to win the election.

We Obama supporters knew better, of course. Esp. since AQ did another video right before the 2008 election (like right before the 2004 election), which was obviously to scare the voters into voting for the Republicans.

But #1: OBAMA'S IMPORTANCE AND INFLUENCE IS INCREASED IN NATIONAL SECURITY AND THE "WAR ON TERROR," SINCE BIN LADEN HIMSELF FELT THE NEED TO DEFLECT FROM OBAMA'S SPEECH TO THE MUSLIM WORLD TODAY, BY DOING A SPEECH HIMSELF; and

#2: THE BIN LADEN VIDEOTAPE IS PROOF THAT BIN LADEN DOES NOT APPROVE OF OR LIKE THAT OBAMA IS IN OFFICE.

Joe sounds like he was upset by this. Bwahahahahahaha!

8. I don't want Obama to "win over" Bin Ladin. I want him to be brought Bin Ladin's head on a plate.
Maybe the Pakistanis can do that for us.

And maybe more of the adherents to Islam can do like those British Muslims did--bullying back at the fundy bullies in the street. "Go away, we don't want you here!" Of course, that was responded to by the extremists by suggesting that the moderates were Jews--which they view as an insult.

Anger: A member of one of the groups gestures to the camera during the confrontation

The Muslim community turned on extremists in their midst yesterday, telling them they were 'sick and tired' of their behaviour.
The angry confrontation came in Luton, where anti-Islamist protesters brandished England flags last Sunday, before clashing with police.
The latest violence erupted as arguments raged between fellow Muslims shortly after Friday morning prayers in the Bury Park area of the town.
Passing traffic ground to a halt as the large group of moderates confronted about a dozen extremists.

As the radical Muslims began to set up their stall, they were surrounded by a crowd shouting 'we don't want you here' and 'move on, move on'.
Angry words were exchanged and scuffles broke out between members of both groups, with the extremists shouting 'Shame on you' and 'Get back to your synagogue'.
The moderates chanted 'Out, Out, Out', and after an uneasy stand-off, police officers were able to persuade the extremist group to leave the area..... the extremists, who follow the militant group led by Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammed, had fuelled feelings against the Muslim community which led to a march last Sunday in Luton which was disrupted by white, right-wing extremists...

going into Iraq, diverting our attention away from getting him.

The RWers kept claiming bin Laden wanted Obama to win because he'd be "weak on terror." Or they're "both Muslims." Or whatever...

35. Bin Laden died in 2003 in Paris from liver cancer with CIA agents at his bedside
There may have been complications from getting bombed on as well in Afghanistan, but he was already carting around a life-support device before that happened.

Bin Laden is CIA. And he died years ago.

27. Well...when the R's had all of the power and caught bin Laden...
things might be different. Instead, they let him get away time after time, disregarded intelligence, gave billions to Afghanistan and Pakistan and essentially kept him around so they could incite fear whenever he popped up.

In fact, they even stopped Clinton from targeting bin laden after the Cole attack...I think it had something to do with a blue dress and a "wag the dog" scenario. The R's screwed up the entire bin Laden affair, even before bush took over the WH. No one to blame but the Republican asshats.

Did he say this on his show (I'm sure no one disagreed with him, even though they constantly claim to be a panel of "diverse views". Right...), or did they have him on MSNBC later in the day to promote this trash?
