NBC wins the night with Obama special

Averages a 2.7 in 18-49s with night's two top shows

NBC’s all-original schedule, including a special on the president and the season finale of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” boosted the network to an easy victory last night.

NBC averaged a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating and 8 share, according to Nielsen overnights, well ahead of second-place CBS’s 2.1/6.

Both “Inside the Obama White House: Brian Williams Reports” and “SVU” won their respective timeslots. “Obama” averaged a 2.6 rating at 9 p.m., jumping from a 2.4 in its first half hour to a 2.8 in its second. It was the night’s No. 2 show.
