The way they went on about his date in New York, I fully expect them to blow this completely out of proportion too.

25. Brings back memories of my trip many years ago

Awesome! Just awesome!

Imagine having a "guided tour" like that ~ I wonder if GW would have even bothered to honor these treasures.

Our President knows how to care and recognize history and give it meaning.

Just these pictures would help young people/adults from all over the world want to visit.

Love it!

PS/ I had an treasured Aunt that traveled all over the world. She always sent me postcards from each place with the same message --
" You must see this some day."

When she returned from Egypt during the early '50s,she gave me a beautiful ring that I recently gave to my God Child. I still remember her giving it to me and telling me... " I am giving you this ring because I want you to have wanderlust."

Needless to say, I didn't have a clue but now I do and I call it my magic ring because from that day to this I have wanderlust.

in antiquities

I wish I knew his name but we see him quite often over the years whenever they find something new and when researchers come to visit

accompanying our President. Dr Hawass is the premier Egyptologist...

There is so much history in the region...I am so thrilled to
see President Obama viewing this area as a treasure to behold and
preserve and not just something to destroy.

... on the tomb wall when he said "that looks like me! Look at those ears!"

Wait until you all see it, it seriously looks JUST like him. You would have thought a modern graffiti artist (Shepherd Fairey? lol) had been in there just before he went in.
